OpenCms

OpenCms from Alkacon Software is a professional, easy to use website content management system. OpenCms helps content managers worldwide to create and maintain beautiful websites fast and efficiently.

The fully browser based user interface features configurable editors for structured content with well defined fields. Alternatively, content can be created using an integrated WYSIWYG editor similar to well known office applications. A sophisticated template engine enforces a site-wide corporate layout and W3C standard compliance for all content.

How We Use It

Integration is our focus. When one of our clients presented us with a request for an integrated CMS solution, we evaluated the business requirements and selected OpenCms. In fact, OpenCms has been our platform of choice for a number of recent projects. In the case of Clipper Vacations (http://www.clippervacations.com), their proprietary booking engine needed to be fully integrated with their marketing website. We selected OpenCms because of its flexibility and extensibility, creating a solution that provided Clipper Vacations with a seamless e-commerce solution for booking travel reservations online.
