Tachometry Corporation, the leading provider in open source strategic business
integration, is looking for a creative, driven professional to join our OpenVelocity
sales team as a Sales Support Engineer.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Customizing and conducting technical sales demonstrations
-
Assisting through all technical aspects of the sales and contracts cycle
-
Serve as point of contact with all prospective client IT departments
-
Manage all product and services evaluations, proof of concepts and trials
-
Participate in response to RFIs, RFPs and RFQs and serve as technical liaison
between RFx stakeholders
-
Coordinating the resolution of complex prospect technical questions
-
Install and customize products and services for large enterprise sales
-
Assist in the development of solution designs and architectures
Required Skills and Experience:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
-
4+ years PHP, HTML, and SQL coding skills
-
Experience with the LAMP technology stack and multiple databases
-
Team player with an excellent sense of humor
-
Enjoys complex problem solving with a high energy “can do” attitude
-
Highly customer service focused
-
Excellent written and presentation skills
-
Travel approximately 30%

B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent
